TO CARRY 2022
Red wool, red thread, vintage glove, rocks
TO CARRY each other. We clothe ourselves in other selves. A hand that reaches out over your shoulder and around your neck, weighs you down. But it also holds you up. The single vertical support on the tubular shirt is the thin, red thread that connects to a hand outside your own. Rocks turn the glove into a counterbalance. Carrying each other – a hand, a rock, a human or non-human – is how we keep ourselves up.
